Portrait of Kati, a wedding photographer

About

Photography has always been a way for me to see the fleeting moments of life. Learning to capture these in real time has evolved continuously throughout my career. Over and over again.

This is the cornerstone of storytelling and imagery that evokes a feeling.

I am fulfilled by finding how the light moves, and how each element supports the story you’ve hired me to document – you, your love and your people.

As I gain experience in life, I tend to lean into people, places and situations that bring me peace. Quiet mornings, gardening, and home renovations. A collector of vintage vinyls, and lover of music in all forms.

I value family, friends, and real connection. I’m interested in who people are at their core and learning about the intricate pieces that make them, them. This way of living has allowed me to view weddings in a completely different way.

The human experience, emotion, and finding the subtle meaning in relationships that carry weight are where my personal life intertwines with my job.

How I interpret and document your day stems from my own experience, but when it’s all said and done, your wedding is about you – not me.

I value how meaningful these days are, and recognize their importance. For this reason, I take on a limited number of weddings each year, in order to give you a tailored, professional experience.

I create space for you to be yourselves. Making sure you have peace of mind that I’m not merely showing up, but preserving the structure needed to tell an authentic and cohesive story.
